Snow Maps blends four global weather models and works out the rain/snow line hour by hour, then calculates snowfall separately at the base (2240 m), mid-mountain (2835 m) and summit (3430 m) of Las Leñas. Colder, higher terrain gets a lighter, deeper snow ratio. The range shows how far the individual models disagree: a wide range means low confidence.
